Controlling the amBIENT XC via ethernet using SitePlayer Telnet

Connect the SitePlayer Telnet to you network as per the instructions included with the unit, start a web browser and connect to the SitePlayer Telnet.

Configure the serial port on the SitePlayer Telnet as follows:

Connect the serial port of the SitePlayer Telnet to the amBIENT XC.

It is also possible to create your own application to control the XC via the SitePlayer Telnet. You need to send telnet command strings with the amBIENT XC RS232 protocol commands. The RS232 Control Command Specification document is available from the amBX Pro website.
